    I had the most memorable Valentine's weekend here a couple of years ago. Both the resort and the hotel were offering Valentine's specials that year which included a champagne reception, one night's stay and a gala dinner.

    The hotel's location is great and, even though it was wintertime, we took the mandatory walk on the beach. The dinner was exquisite, with two starters, a main which was steak, cooked to perfection, and one of the most amazing desserts I have ever had. Oh, and every dish was heart-shaped. The live music was lounge and it was perfect for the occasion.
