Urban Buses
Larnaca
Urban buses in Larnaca are practical for getting to and
from Larnaca International airport. Bus No 22 or 24 from Ermou
and Plateia Palion Finikoundon go to the airport. The first
bus is at 6.20am and the last at 7pm in summer, 5.30pm in
the winter.
Paphos
Bus No 10 runs every 20 minutes for Coral Bay and its beach,
bus No 11 leaves every 10 to 15 minutes for Kato (Lower) Paphos
and bus No 15 is running via Kato Paphos linking Geroskipou
Beach, 3 km to the southeast of Kato Paphos, and Coral Bay,
12 km to the north. This service is every 15 to 20 minutes
and follows the coastal route and major hotel strip. There
are no buses running to the airport from Paphos. Therefore
it is useful to take a taxi.
Limassol
It is better to have your own transport, although Kourion/Episkopi
and Ancient Amathous are linked with Limassol by daily public
buses. Governor’s Beach can be reached by a daily private
bus. The urban service in Limassol is mostly practical when
being transferred to and from the port too.
South Nicosia
Urban buses here are colourful and old-fashioned but more
frequently they link most of the Mesaoria villages with Nicosia
and are basically scheduled to service workers and school-children,
not curious travellers that is why they are of limited use.
