We didn't take our chances with the cameras on this one, so all you'll see here is the ride from a distance. If you listen carefully, you can hear the screams of the people riding it. Definitely an intense ride!

Always a kids' favorite, the small choo-choo train could not be absetn from the Xmas Fair.

More of Nicosia from above. Here you can clearly see the Constanza Bastion and Bayraktar Mosque and in the distance, the large parking lot at D'Avila Bastion. The Medieval Walled City is definitely my favorite part of Nicosia.

The ferris wheel ride gave us a bird's eye view of Nicosia, with unobstructed views in all directions. This was definitely the highlight of my visit to the fair.

The ferris wheel dominates the Nicosia skyline these days and we got a chance to ride it. This is a video of it from a distance but do check out the other video we took while on it. you can see all of Nicosia from up there!

The mini-carousel.

A rotating ride that resembles an octopus. Seems like a milder alternative to the height of the ferris wheel and the speed of the Magic Mouse rollercoaster.

And here is the bumper car duel from my good friend Leandros' perspective. Ok, he gets extra points for knocking my camera off my hands, but I did have the final word on a head-on collision at the end that shook him more than me!

Well, Leandros insists that he won this exciting bumper car duel, but I beg to differ! You be the judge after seeing it from my point of view in this video and from his in the next one.

And up we go! We took a ride on the large ferris wheel at the fair and it was totally worth it as the views of Nicosia from up there are breathtaking! Enjoy the exclamations of our animated co-passengers :)

OK, so we tried the bumper cars. We felt like reminiscing. Julie sat this one out but LEandros and I had a first-class bumper car duel that alsomst destroyed my camera. Check out the videos, both from my point of view as well as his LOL!
