  Just got back from a short trip to CY. OK fair enough it was off-season, but i had the BEST meal of my trip at this place. Fish Meze out of this world, food just kept on coming and coming! Great food, Great location, Great Staff, cant recommend it enough!

  This restaurant is excellently located if you like to get in the mix and absorb some of the local Cypriot culture. Governors Beach which is just a stones throw from the grassed "garden" with it's beautiful shady trees, is quite busy at the weekend during the summer months as everyone comes down from surrounding areas but this is part of the charm and it is fascinating watching people go about their business. When I wasn't on the beach I was relaxing under one of those shady trees on a very comfortable lounger with a good book and a long, cool, drink.
  
  If it sounds very relaxing, well, that's because it was.
  
  You can have a lovely Greek repas from a light lunch (my favourite was fish or calamari with a generously portioned feta salad) to a more extensive meze with a few bottles of good wine on an evening out with friends and/or family.
  
  The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome...but my favourites were the vietnamese girls who ran the kitchen and the "boss" Andreas meticulously ensuring that every aspect of his establishment was in order and bringing his own unique style and depth of experience to your visit here.

  Oh my god what a wonderful Tarvern right on the beach, there is everything you need all in one. We were there last summer spent the whole day on the beach everytime we wanted a drink or a bite to eat, just went to the kiosk so handy to have it right there. Later on had showers on the beach, and went for a lovely Fish Meze, so much lovely food followed by fresh fruits. The owner was such a lovely friendly man made us feel so welcome and his staff were lovely too, could,nt do enough for us, liked it so much, went back another 2 times.
  If you are in the location you have to visit the Fisherman's Hut.

  Great food, Great people!! Love everything about this place from location to the tasty food they serve. What could be better than sitting in one of the finer restaurants on the island with a spectacular view of the sea. Highly recommended!!Definitely a MUST, if you're on holiday here :)

  Great for family outings as has large grass area for the kids to play and is right by the beach. Good menu for fish meze and other tastes. Very friendly and approachable staff. A nice setting where you could spend the day away from town.

  This is a beautiful tavern on Governors Beach. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is lovely.
  It's a brilliant place to go in the summer as you can laze around on the beach and be a short walk from all there facilities and the beach bar. I am currently planning my wedding reception here and the owner has been so helpful and accommodating to our every whim.
