All Aboard... the Wine Bus!

The 27th of August, 2010 marks the beginning of the 49th annual Limassol Wine Festival!

Like every year, the Limassol Municipal Gardens are hosting the Limassol Wine Festival, a tribute to the long history and tradition of wine-making in Cyprus. It is a celebration that brings together foreigners and locals to enjoy Cyprus traditions, food and, of course, unlimited amounts of wine.

The festival will take place from Friday, August 27th to Sunday, September 5th and will include shows such as folkloric songs and dances by different groups, theatrical and magic shows and more.

The Wine Express

Since the primary activity of the festival will be the drinking of wine, the Cyprus Tourism Organization is offering a free bus service to and from the festival from all major towns. That's right, we don't want you drinking and driving! Fittingly named the "Wine Express", the free bus transportation will depart at set times from pre-defined locations
