  Without any doubt one of the finest traditional tavernas.
  
  Good food, and the best hospitality make this a great dining experience.
  
  

  Pros:Traditional food and a great meze, Good wine. Honest prices. Good parking nearby.

  If it aint broke, don't fix it!
  
  That can truely be said for the Peyia Tavern that has been run by Michallis and his wife for over 20 years.
  
  It is probably one of the best grilled meze you will have, ever. The only thing that has changed in the past 20 years is the price - I remember paying 2 Cyprus Pounds for the meze. The actual content of the meze hasn't changed and why should it when it is approaching perfection.
  
  It's good and reassuring that all you have to decide upong at a restaurant for the past 20 years is what do you want to drink with your meal. High quality and consistancy have been the main points of the Peyia Tavern.
