Pieros is one of the best choices for lunch or dinner when in the Protaras area if you're in the mood for Cypriot food. Most restaurants in the area have unfortunately compromised on quality to serve the masses of tourists that flock to these areas of Cyprus, but not this one. The food is excellent, traditional and true to its origins. They even have a traditional oven where they make their kleftiko which is absolutely delicious.
The service is good, even though it can be slow at times especially when the place is busy. Mr. Pieros is always there and it's worth talking to him as he is very nice and quite a character. If you're lucky, in the summer he may even serve grapes to you from the vines that form the roof of the restaurant.
Overall, a solid option for a meal, with reasonable prices.
