One of the oldest taxi offices in Nicosia. Offers a variety of services such as transports to and from all cities on the island. The company also offers taxi services for handicaped people on wheelchairs with the world popular London Taxi vehicles. The London Taxi vehicles have an incoporated wheelchair ramp making access within the passenger cabin much more easier. No need for the passenger to get off his/hers wheelchair as it locks directly at a specific point safely within the cabin. Also included in the company are six seater vehicles for more luggage and/or passengers.
All London Taxi vehicles are brand new and include airconditioning systems within the passenger cabin. Furthermore, due to their antique fashioned appearance they are suitable and can also be hired for wedding ceremonies etc.
Finlandia was founded in the mid 1960s.The office was located in Agios Dhometios and close to the United Nations camp which at the time consisted of Finnish recruits. The Taxi office was widely used by the recruits and so the word "ΦΙΝΛΑΝΔΙΑ" , which means "Finland" in greek, was adopted as the company's name. Today, the office is located in Engomi and is operated by the Tsigarides family since 1985 and is one of the major players in the taxi transport market in Nicosia.
