Dr Vasos Vasiliou saw my son in October 2010. He presented with a severe ear infection and a high temp, the doctor treated him with antibiotics etc, because he wasnt getting any better he sent him for an x ray and then a MRI scan. This found severe sinusitis and early meningitis. He immediately transferred him to Nicosia General Hospital where he underwent a 3 hour operation. I truely believe the dr saved his life. While we were in Nicosia Dr Vasiliou visited my son twice off his own back. He continually kept in touch with me and phoned the hospital to get updates on my sons health. Even the insurance company couldn't get the information!! He did so much for us, without him I couldnt have managed. I was in a foreign country, my son seriously ill and the rest of my family had to return home. After he was discharged I begged my insurance company to transfer us back to Protaras so that the doctor could continue caring for my son. We saw him every day until we left and he was so funny and kind. I wish there were more doctors in fact more people like him in this world. He really was amazing.
