Butcher Boy dates back to 1989, when Neofytos Hadjialexandrou, known to all customers and friends as Neo, established a small butchery situated at Nikolas Nikolaides Avenue, in Paphos. The shop concentrated on quality meats and a “New Cut” philosophy displayed from a small meat case.

The first 3-4 years find Neo working and serving an increasing client base on his own By 1993 a second person joined Neo in order to maintain the excellent and personal service. The “New Cut” philosophy found great appeal and response as people realized that they were getting more meat for what they were actually paying. More meat meaning, as less fat as possible in order to sustain taste and no bones on the scale.

The excellent quality of product, combined with the New Cut philosophy and personal service finds Butcher Boy growing tremendously in a decade and moving to the new owned premises with 100 sq meters of retail space and work area by 1999.
We evolve

In 2009, Butcher Boy underwent a major change. By maintaining the New Cut philosophy and introducing more quality meats and more variety from around the world, we doubled floor space – significantly increasing our display and meat process areas– procuring latest equipment and technology from Europe to better maintain product quality and freshness. Feedback from our loyal and dedicated customers drove us into creating a new delicatessen section provisioning for platters, cold cuts, condiments, dairy products and quality cheese, exclusive imports and a selection of quality wines. By realizing our clientele needs we tried to meet these needs without loosing on personalized service or our values from day one.

More than 20 dedicated staff is ready to serve your needs. Our staff undergoes regular training to keep ahead of gastronomy developments, recommend complete dinner solutions from starters to main dishes with steaks or lamb or veal or pork.

    Variety, quality and freshness

    ButcherBoy has recent renovated its shop and now it is a first class deli with meats, cheeses, smoked meats, wines, pasta, ready meals, marinated meat and a whole lot more.

    The service is friendly and the selection huge.

    I can recommend a trip to ButcherBoy for all they have to offer - you wont come away disappointed.
