Comfortable, great for swimming
I like going to this beach for several reasons.
First of all, I almost always find a beach-bed and umbrella here, regardless of the time I arrive at the beach - and since I'm coming from Nicosia, it's not that early. This doesn't mean that the beach is empry, on the contrary, it is quite packed. I just think they have lots of beds :)
The water is very clear and very swimmer-friendly. Not many rocks at all. It does tend to get wavy at times, but nothing crazy. It is frequented mostly by Russian and German tourists, with the occasional Cypriot family or couple here and there. I like it because it's a mix of families and young people, so I'd put this beach between Nissi Bay which is the party-time beach and Fig-tree Bay which is more family-oriented.There is parking at the top right outside Grecian Bay Hotel and it is a short walk 3-minute walk down the hill. The only downside is that there aren't really many food options around, just a small snack bar that makes sandwiches and hot-dogs (!), unless you want to get ripped off by one of the hotel restaurants.
Recommended if you're in the mood for something different than the usual suspects like Nissi Beach and Konnos.
