"Limani" rent a car was the out most terrible experience I ever had with rental Car Company. To begin with the man, one Marios from "limani rent a car" part of the Economy rent a car was not waiting for us at the arrival as he had confirmed on my telephone prior to the trip. We had to call twice and wait 15 minutes for him to arrive at the departure level (!) not arrivals.
Then he proceeded preparing the papers and he asked me for 900 Euros not the 730.07 Canadian dollars (about 490 Euros) we had confirmed in writing with Expedia.
In addition, he tried to sell us “full insurance” at 9 additional Euros a day. We declined because we have such coverage under my credit card so he asked us to pay 3,000 Euros security deposit that would return to us if we were to return the car “as delivered to us”
Furthermore he asked for gas expenses and an extra charge for adding my wife as secondary driver.
All this was against the written confirmation I had from Expedia which I showed to him at no avail.
We declined to pay the extras for the car and we opted to be stranded in a strange airport than submitting to what amounted to a gross black mail. We found an alternate way to get to Nicosia and we rented exactly the same car he offered us (2014 Mazda Demio ) for 15 Euros a day plus 5 Euros for full insurance from KM LTD (Kontos Motors 16 Argyrokastrou Str, 1100, Lefkosia)
"Limani rent a car" failed us in a major way Do not ever book a car rental with this crooked man/company .They are nothing less than a bunch of dishonest crooks that try to fleece your clients
