This museum is definitely worth a visit as it holds many extraordinary artefacts including pottery from the Bronze Age, glassware from the Roman era and some amazing jewellery from the Classical era, together with other notable discoveries.

The collection of antiquities covers all the significant periods of Cyprus history with exhibits housed in three rooms and divided into three main categories.

One room is dedicated to exhibiting pottery; the middle room depicts coins, jewellery, lamps and a variety of copper tools and wares, while the third has sculptures, tomb stones, capitals, inscriptions and other marble and limestone objects.
