'To Ploumin' is a traditional Cypriot restaurant in the small farming town of Sotira, famous for it's red soil potatoes and colocassi (taro).

It is in a traditional Cypriot stone house, dating from the turn-of-the-century. It has been authentically restored– with attention to even the smallest details—over a 4 year period, 1992-1997, and is a government listed property.
The menu features traditional Cypriot cuisine, and all the dishes are freshly cooked using traditional methods. Specialties include Cyprus "meze", which is a rich and varied selection of about 20 dishes, and seasonal foods, such as snails, game birds, sausages and cured meats.
