About the holiday homes:
Our holiday homes are two houses (one large and one smaller) and one flat. They all share one common courtyard and swimming pool. They all sleep 4 people and have all the amenities:
– 2 bedrooms, fully central heated
– self catering kitchen (incl. washing machine, oven, microwave, toaster and all kitchenware)
– television with local channels
– toilet (large house has 2)
– shower (large house also has a bathtub)
The flat is slightly smaller than the houses and is open plan. It's situated above the swimming pool.
The two houses are spacious and have their main entrance inside the courtyard.
All our accomondation has been recently restored and warm heartedly decorated to be welcoming and relaxing.
We are always available to assist you, with anything you need, during your stay with us.
The story behind these holiday homes:
Hello, my name is Stavroulla.
I was born in Cyprus, but spent most of my life in England. Love for Lofou brought me back to Cyprus after 45 years.
The fisrt time I visited Lofou was 25 years ago. I immediatelly fell in love with the place. So, I started to fly back to Cyprus twice a year just to visit and spend some relaxing time in Lofou. Being there was taking my imagination back to how life used to be during the older days; the narrow cobblestone streets, the scent of jasmine, the colourful bougainvilleas, the village fountain, the Cyprus old style traditions, the friendly people.
It was always my wish to make this wonderful experience that one feels in Lofou, available to everybody around the world, that value tradition and old fashion life.
Having returned to Cyprus, I decided to bring my dream to life. I took an old village house in Lofou, spent every penny that I earned and worked hard to transform it into a welcoming residence. An old fashion residence, but yet gain one that does not lack all the modern amenities that we are all dependent on today.
After five years, me and my husband our proud to say that we did it .. we transfrormed and readied the house for our first visitors.
So, we open our doors and with welcoming open arms we invite you to visit and experience our village, our holiday homes and discover too the joy that made us fall in love with Lofou.
