Sushi Yum Yum

Waiting for my order for take away I noticed that the lady wearing gloves and preparing sushi plates also picked up the phone... I asked politely whether the gloves were worn for sterility or protection of the cook and the manager replied politely for the food sterility!... So I told him that the cook is serving at the same time as speaking on the phone. He agreed but he continued his work so I wrongly took the liberty of speaking directly to the cook telling her that she should change gloves to serve my take away dish with sushi... And at this point the manager intervined to tell me that I was not allowed to direct my conversation to the cook and that if I don't like the way his is running the restaurant I should not go there again!!!! I paid my food which was actually tasty but not clean unfortunately..... I was feeling that I was tasting the microbes from the phone she was holding with her gloves before serving my meal
Tasty or not I will not go there again!!! Would u???

I visited this tiny but elegant little sushi bar style for lunch. I loved the sushi! Actually the quality of the sushi was excellent! Freshly made sushi with a combination of freshly made weed or other japanese style salads along with a Japanese beer and you have the full experience! The place is very small and it is mostly for delivery/take away. We managed to sit on the bar and get served there; the staff and the powner were very friendly and talkative.

I enjoyed the sushi, the people and the atmosphear this tiny place offers! I highly reccomend ot try it..

Nastasia M......what a load of CR*P! (and I don't mean the Romanian name of a fresh-water fish).....your comments are totally unfounded......You mention nothing of the food! I have to say that I have been going to YUM YUM for sometime now and have found (on every occasion), the staff to be friendly, welcoming and very informative. I have eaten in thousands of restaurants across the world, (including Japan), and I can say with confidence that the food served here, is in my top-ten Japanese List! (Sorry Yum Yum, but NOBU in London's 'Mayfair', hits the top of this list.....but for a small restaurant serving the Nicosia community, this get my 5 star approval in Cyprus. Yes, there are many Japanese restaurants in Cyprus, (most in Nicosia), but, if you are looking for a fast, efficient, clean and good-tasting Japanese Sushi that is also very inexpensive.....(on the other restaurants know what I mean), then Yum Yum should be in your mobile 'contacts-list'. As for Nastasia M, all I would say is, you only get treated what you dish out....in other words, if you are rude, 'sometimes' people will appear to be rude-back! Telephone & Waiter/Waitress staff are easily replaced or re-trained, but Good Chefs are rare........Great food Yum Yum...keep it up! Jim JIM - UK

This was the most horrible experience i have ever had with ordering delivery!! the stuff is very incompetent and rude! when they asked me for the full address and failed to hear me repeat the post code 3 times!!! consequently I raised my voice for them to hear me better after which the person taking the order started shouting at me and put down the phone!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! after calling him back and telling that it was not polite what he did, i was shouted at again and he hung up on me!! unacceptable! First of all, people working in service industry should realize that the client is always right! second of all, i did NOT do or say anything which should have deserved me such an attitude! my suggestion to the manager- if you do not want to be out of business very soon better consider changing or at least educating your stuff! needless to say that after such treatment I did not make an order and will not do one EVER! and I will suggest all my friends and acquaintances to stay away from this place as far as possible!!!
