Supreme location, great sea view, good quality fish dishes,
The location of Thalassa Conf Room is supreme on the beach in Governor's Beach area. The view is excellent and the fish offered for lunch and dinner is quite fresh and high quality. The conference room facilities are ok and you can have a nice seminar in this conf room away form the city at excellent prices!!! A little bit more attention on the service and some details in the setting of the place can take this place soon to a 5star rating...

The combination of room, conference services and dining along with its location it gives them the upper hand; however their service in the restaurant needs a bit of improvement!!!! It took a while for somebody to come and take our order, and once they did - first the food and then the drinks, something unusual, the waiter kept mixing up our dishes. We were a big group and some of us order mezedes and some just set dishes. They kept bringing the food, without letting us know which was which, just because he didn't know which was which. We had to figure it out on our own. Nevertheless the kalamari (squid) is probably the best I've had in Cyprus by far, so far!!!! The whole meal experience was very good (stay away from the so called 'seafood rizotto', not even close)!!!! I believe the fish they serve is as fresh as it can get here in Cyprus and it is worth driving a bit for this experience.
Just a note for the owners if they see this! Make sure that the bathrooms are clean as expected and make sure that the lights in the bathroom are working unlike today that three out four bathroom light's were not so it was dark! Service and ambience as well as food needs to match prices! Work on it!!!!

My review
It combines a sort of bed and breakfast option along with a restaurant right on the sea, plus it is a great spot to host small seminars. The outside has been renovated and became a lovely patio. A family owned business with friendly stuff and lovely lunch and dinner options.
