To Spitiko tou Archonta

Our lodge is located in an elevated position in the heart of Treis Elies village. The house is more than 100 years old and has recently been restored with funding from and under the supervision of the conservation department. While preserving the architectural heritage the house has been adapted for its new use. The old furniture remains, adding charm and contributing to the original atmosphere of the house.

Set in the heart of the Troodos mountains the lodge is ideal for providing families, friends, and couples a respite from their busy lives. Visitors to the lodge can sample the tranquillity and beauty of the area, relax and enjoy the opportunities offered by the village's proximity to forest walks, riverside footpaths, and Byzantine history and culture.

The house is on three levels, each with unspoilt views of the forested mountain. Each apartment has its own entrance, balcony and patio. This arrangement ensures the privacy of guests while facilitating group residence and activities. The resident proprietor's rooms are large enough to provide comfortable accommodation.

The original main living area of the house is located on the first level, with the outside yard as the traditional workplace. Here the former residents used to prepare and preserve a variety of Cypriot foods and other edible products, e.g. bread baked in the outdoor oven, soujouko, wine, zivania, trachana, and many others.

We aim to maintain this tradition by continuing the preparation of these products using the original methods.
